MOGAD Awareness Month 2026 Hummingbird Art

Welcome to art created by children with MOGAD!

This project was inspired by a champion of The MOG Project Kathy Ferella, who also designed the hummingbird activity for children to color as part of MOGAD Awareness Month — which runs throughout April.

A colorful illustration for MOGAD Awareness Month shows a blue and yellow hummingbird hovering beside a branch with pink flowers and green leaves, set against a light blue sky. The artist’s signature, Kathy, appears at the bottom right.

The hummingbird embodies the tenacity required to live with MOGAD. In addition to its vibrant colors that are reflected in The MOG Project’s brand, it is the spirit of the hummingbird that captures the heart of the MOGAD community. Though small in size, hummingbirds are fierce, resilient, and relentless.

From the very beginning, the hummingbird embodied The MOG Project, and we’re excited to share this with our community!
