A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable investment account established through a sponsoring organization—such as a financial institution or community foundation—that allows you to make an irrevocable, tax-deductible contribution to the fund. The assets may be invested for potential growth, and you can recommend grants to qualified nonprofit organizations over time.

DAFs are a flexible and tax-efficient way to support causes you care about while allowing you to plan your charitable giving strategically.

Maximize your giving and take advantage of immediate tax benefits by recommending a gift to The MOG Project through your donor-advised fund.

To recommend a grant, search for “The MOG Project” using our EIN (85-0767017) through your DAF provider (such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or your local community foundation). You may designate your grant for general support or for a specific program area.

If you have questions about directing a DAF gift, please contact us at info@mogproject.org for assistance.

If you’re 70 ½ or older, you may be eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to support The MOG Project, potentially tax-free.

To make a QCD, contact your IRA plan administrator and request that a distribution be sent directly to The MOG Project using our legal name and EIN (85-0767017). QCDs may count toward your required minimum distribution and are excluded from taxable income.

Planned gifts can provide lasting impact and help ensure sustained support for generations.
