Travel Information

Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) is the closest and most convenient airport for attendees traveling to the Summit, with only 11 miles to The Royal Sonesta.

The three most convenient ways to travel to The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court from BWI include:

  • Via Uber/Lyft or rental car, it’s a 15 minute drive.
  • The airport offers private taxis, though they are generally more expensive than Uber or Lyft.
  • With the light rail/metro at $2 per person, it’s a 27 minute ride to Camden Station and 11 minute walk from the metro to the hotel. The train runs every 30 minutes from the lower level of BWI, just outside of Door #19 and adjacent to Concourse E.

Additional airports include Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), both approximately an hour to an hour and a half away depending on traffic.

Parking at the conference

Please note that parking at The Royal Sonesta overnight is $28/night for self-parking and $50/night for valet parking.

It costs $15 for day parkers and $35 for valet day parking.

There is not difference in parking fees for those who are staying at The Royal Sonesta or otherwise.

Hotel Availability

Due to a large national conference taking place in Baltimore the same weekend as the 2026 MOGAD Patient Summit, hotel availability throughout the city is limited. We strongly encourage attendees to reserve accommodations as soon as possible.

We secured a discounted room block at The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court, the same place our core conference is taking place. Reserve your room today! Please note that our hotel room block closes on August 7, 2026

If your family or group requires accommodations for more than four people, please reserve a room now and contact us at events@mogproject.org. Depending on availability, the hotel may be able to provide a sleeper cot, and we are working with the hotel to assess demand for additional larger-room options.

We also have a room block at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel, which is approximately a 10-minute drive from the Royal Sonesta. There are three different room types available, all of which can room up to four people.

Please note: We do not currently have travel grants available for the 2026 Summit.
